André Duchamp, a Carcasonne-born French-ethnic trader, captain of the starship Villeneuve’s Revenge. He is an amoral character who will perform more or less any task for the right price, including piracy and trade in antimatter technology.
As of 2611, André Duchamp is avoiding fellow starship captain Hasan Rawand across the Confederation for his grudge against him after a business envolving the star systems of Nuristan, Isolo and Sab Biyar went sour.

During the Possession Crisis André Duchamp, and and his ship and crew, worked for Capone’s Organization, helping to to defend New California. He is drafted to escort Kingsley Pryor to Trafalgar where he nearly dies.
After the end of the Possession Crisis, André Duchamp is sent off to a penal planet.
